Timothy Tarrant joined FINCA Azerbaijan in December 2013 as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Before joining FINCA Azerbaijan, Tim worked the last 12 years as CEO for 3 FINCA subsidiaries, including FINCA Siberia, FINCA Georgia, and the combined FINCA Russia (ZAO FINCA). He has also served on various FINCA subsidiary Boards and Audit Committees.

Prior to FINCA, Mr. Tarrant worked as a Director at the American Business Center, an organization that provided consulting and market research services to Western companies operating in the Russian market. He also worked as a Business Analyst in the Corporate Finance division of MCI, a global telecommunications company. Mr. Tarrant has over 20 years of management experience in Russia and the CIS countries.

Mr. Tarrant holds a MBA with a focus on International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA in International Relations from the University of Memphis. He also completed the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking in 2007. He speaks English and Russian
